2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites. 2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more.This is a part time, permanent vacancy working 12:00pm to 00:00am Saturday & Sunday.Domestic assistants are more than just a cleaner, they are the lifeblood of the NHS and an integral part of the team, keeping hospitals, health centres, offices and other areas clean and hygienic. No previous experience is required and training will be provided inline with the BICS accreditation. We will cover costs for a DBS check if required for the role. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Main dutiesClean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.Follow infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.Dispose of waste safely and according to hospital guidelines.Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.The Person:You will be physically fit, able to perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods. They should have high standards of cleanliness and hygiene with keen attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills, dependability with excellent punctuality, and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, are essential. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are also required to follow instructions and complete necessary documentation. A proficient level of reading, verbal, and written English is required for this role to ensure effective communication and job performance.
