Paragon Social Care is a specialist Children’s Support Agency, supporting children and young people across the country who find themselves between placements. Our experienced team steps in and provides vital stability and support during these difficult times of transition. We work in a therapeutic way using the Positive Behaviour Support and Trauma Informed Frameworks.

 

We are recruiting a Support Package Coordinator to assist the company as we expand, to act as a bridge between the support staff and management team to start as soon as possible.

 

Duties:

  • Coordinating the Daily Notes sent in from support staff, reading through them to gain a full understanding of what has happened on each shift, informing the management team of any issues and sending on the reports to the social care team.
  • Dealing with questions and queries from support staff on an ongoing daily basis.
  • Attending multi-agency meeting with professionals including social care, the police and health.
  • Visiting the support packages, either announced or unannounced for QA checks.
  • Assisting with setting up and closing down of support packages.

 

This role will suit someone with a social care background, an ex social worker would be ideal however not essential. You will be fluent in English, have a good understanding of children’s safeguarding and be confident to attend and speak at professional meetings where you will represent the company.

  • Previous experience would be ideal
  • Experience in safeguarding
  • Knowledge of Children Support Work
