Job Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and lifecycle management of our remote monitoring and historian-based solutions. These solutions enable the collection, storage and real-time analysis of data from control system devices, with the added capability of remote monitoring and remote engineering, seamlessly integrating with cloud and on-premise data platforms.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and feature set aligned with customer expectation and market trends, whilst working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and service teams. You will ensure the product meets the needs of GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage industries such as Oil & Gas, Industry, Marine, Renewable Energy and Naval technology.

Job DescriptionProduct Strategy & Roadmap
  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the remote monitoring & data historian platforms
  • Develop and maintain a multi-generational product plan
  • Identify market trends, customer pain points, and industry regulations to drive product roadmap and innovation
  • Ensure alignment with relevant industry standards and trade compliance 
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to align product vision with business goals
  • Work to define the next generation of remote monitoring and historian solution for the Power Conversion & Storage business, providing clear requirements justified by a strong business case and ROI
     
Product Development & Execution
  • Work with product development teams to create solutions that enable secure, high-performance data acquisition, storage, and analysis with a focus on UI/UX
  • Define clear product requirements, use cases, and specifications in partnership with wider business functions and stakeholders
  • Oversee product lifecycle, from launch, through service to replacement
  • Lead the vision of UI/UX, by defining expectations & requirements to create intuitive dashboards, data analysis tools and overall product experience
  • Ensure the products meet regulatory and legal standards for cyber security, notably IEC 62443, EU CRA, NERC-CIP
     
Customer & Market Engagement
  • Engage with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to gather voice of customer and prioritize roadmap
  • Work with sales and marketing team to define go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and positioning
  • Conduct competitive analysis
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including technical guidance, training, and product documentation inc. marketing material, pricing guidance, ordering process, tender info etc.
  • Manage product costing and ordering processes, guidelines and associated infrastructure
     

Qualifications & Skills

Required:
  • Considerable product management experience in industrial automation, remote monitoring or historian-based solutions
  • Strong knowledge of OT networks and industrial control systems 
  • Experience with historian-based products, time-series data management, and data visualisation tools
  • Proven ability to define product roadmaps, prioritise features, and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for OT environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business value
Desired:
  • Degree level qualification in computer science, electrical engineering, cyber security or a related field
  • Knowledge of edge computing, fog computing, cloud integration, and hybrid deployment models
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards such as IEC 62443, NIST SP800 series, NERC-CIP, CRA
